In the North you wear at least 4 layers during the winter. Period.
Debbie C (5 days ago)
‘m NEVER going to put conditioner on a sweater, then freeze, ugh, yuck!
Shayma Mahmoud (5 days ago)
There is no winter in your outfits
Howard Goldstein (5 days ago)
........all you needed to do for that itchy sweater is soak it in water with some hair conditioner diluted into the water........double sided tape is a good idea-buy a roll & tear off what you need which is much less expensive.......sorry, but the rest of your ideas look a bit tacky..................
yesiownfrodo (5 days ago)
this is a great video. however, I have to say, I disagree somewhat with the open/closed front because I have a moto jacket, and it is going to be shorter than anything I wear under it. Otherwise, I love everything in this video, and I'd love to find out how you do your hair. Great.
I loved your video but I was expecting something for WINTER. I live in a very cold place and I would freeze to death if I only wear these clothes :( ! Thanks tho
Shanelie (6 days ago)
You’re adorable!
hey_itsreggie (6 days ago)
To be honest, 5'9" sounds WAY better compared to 6'... actually anything under 6' would be great.
76marji (6 days ago)
🌹 i do it a bit differently: to prevent button-up shirt gaps, i stitch the plackets closed up to the highest button my head will fit through. all of my shirts become pull-overs, & i only have 1 or 2 buttons to button [good-bye, gaps]. 🌷

Joy McArthur (7 days ago)
I just don't buy itchy sweaters. Problem solved by not happening.
NOUSHIN MAHMOOD (7 days ago)
Ehem I live in Michigan and I just layer up as much as possible. I don't care about fashion. I don't care if I'm looking like a bear. If I do any of these hacks, I'd die freezing!!!
Elin Lein Arna (7 days ago)
I don't know where you could actually wear stuff like this during winter, none of it looks warm enough for fall either 😂 Here you would get frostbite if you tried wearing any of this during winter.
Lori Weller (8 days ago)
These ideas are great and you are as well...though I’m with them on the itchy sweater, and also have issues with spraying hair spray in the tights! Please tag away from the chemicals! They are very bad for us!
Dorotea the amejzing (8 days ago)
6:20 i would never wear
Dorotea the amejzing (8 days ago)
this is absolutely NOT winter clothes they are for spring, in winter you wear hoodies not dresses
Just Coni justme (9 days ago)

It's a bit obvious isn't it?
Cheryl Campbell (9 days ago)
What...no turtleneck sweaters or cute quilted vests?
Ahd Ayadi (9 days ago)
Are you sure this is for winter??? -_- sleeves are rolled up!!!! short skirts and dresses!! -_- I'm sorry but this was a total waste of my time (siigh)
Gary Rice (10 days ago)
your looks rock out you remind me of rose bryne a bit.
Gary Rice (10 days ago)
wearing a sweater is punishment enough a itchy one will be on just on the flannel if you don't have tape you can just leave the top button open lol jk love your eye brows xoxo.
Tammie Parrish Miller (10 days ago)
You definitely do a nice job making and editing your videos and I must also mention that you are beautiful! However, I think you may have mislabeled this video because there wasn't really a thing in here that had much to do with staying warm during the winter months. I'm sure you already heard this about a few hundred times. Just sayin...

Real winter clothing hacks you need to know: Buy Canadian.

Love the itchy sweater tip. Does it work on pieces that are partially wool?
Carol Young (10 days ago)
Regarding gapping, a needle and thread solves it.

Ummm, No!
clarck cleo (11 days ago)
I don't know where your from but that's not winter clothes
Annabeth 1052 (11 days ago)
Ugh I could never move further south and live there year around. It’s soooo much easier to deal with the cold- just put on another layer. However, when it’s hot outside, you could strip but 1) that’s not a good idea unless you’re at a nude beach or a private area that allows that 2) you can’t take your skin off and 3) you’re more likely to get a sunburn
Sara Laclair (11 days ago)
Bravo bravo 🆕
Karen Mullen (11 days ago)
Fantastic idea for preventing pilling is to put hairspray on! Especially in the crotch believe it or not. That's for the chicks that are heavier of upper thigh.
Karen Mullen (11 days ago)
You went through a lo-o-o-ot of trouble with that sweater! Who's got time for all that mess and who wants a sweater that smells like vinegar? The best thing is to slather YOURSELF with a bunch of cream and when you go to put your sweater on, roll it up to the arms with right sides together starting out and then it'll be inside to the outside, so that when you put it on you don't get the cream on the outside of the sweater (think rolling your socks down and you'll understand) The massive amount of cream that you slathered on yourself will soak into the sweater thereby causing an anti-itch barrier. Then the next time you wash your sweater you can put it in the gentle cycle that only runs a few minutes with warm or cold water and a heck of a lot of fabric softener and you'll get the same result inside and outside your sweater and leave the vinegar alone. I've had 35 years in the fabrics industry as well as cleaning and laundering. Leave the vinegar alone unless you are dying clothes. Acrylic sweaters are heat sensitive and can permanently wrinkle. use moderately warm water and if your dryer doesn't have a delicate or permanent press cycle Well that means that it has one heat and the longer that dryer is on, the hotter it will get . If so it's safe for only 10 minutes but take it out and hang if you want to stretch the length or lay flat to dry for no wrinkles

you are so cute

Interesting. No longer relatable for November where I am
BECHA (13 days ago)
There is something wrong about your make up. Your checks are 'dropped'
Ary anna (13 days ago)
This is not Winter wear in Canada. More like Fall hacks.
Geena K (14 days ago)
1st idea: hum.... ?? And what about a few sewing between the 2 buttons to your shirt ? Instead of wastefull, plastic, not reusable fashion tape ?? I like to hear about good daily advice (on many topics) but sometimes, it is just a sad and another way of buy and consume things instead of fixing the "problems" with durable solutions.
Bailey Hersey (14 days ago)
I’m a born and raised Florida girl about to experience my first winter in my new home of Northern California, so these hacks are much needed and appreciated! 👍🏻
Julie Blackstock (15 days ago)
wow! the hair spray over the tights, life changing.
maricakuz (15 days ago)
About layering. This means for open clothes it's always should be 3 or more layers? tank-top as base and 2 open garments?
lisette la chat (15 days ago)
I'm 5.11 and hate buying dresses 😢
Brynn Jones (15 days ago)
I wish I had your cold weather... I would freeze to death in those clothes.
dunwitfat (15 days ago)

So you live in the North, uh? Of what? Mexico?
1DPhanicPilot (3 days ago)
Same, it's 15 degrees celcius outside and I'm freezing
cece babock (5 days ago)
North of Mexico is too cold for those outfits on winter! We would be freezing!
Lola Spangler (18 days ago)
I don't know what north she's referring to but she'll freeze going out like that in the winter in the north u.s, maybe early autumn clothing, but girl you're gonna die if you go out like that right now.
Yuri Falcon (18 days ago)
this was not helpful for winter
Maja Korbacz (18 days ago)
Cool hacks but my winter is too cold for them :/
Catherine Arlene (18 days ago)
I love that you put hairspray over your tights. You mentioned it helps with pilling. I’ve bought t-shirts and other type tops and after wearing them a couple of times they already pull! Especially pilling over my breasts, and they are of a modest size 😉. Have you tried the hairspray over t-shirts? Would it wash out okay? Love your simple, minimalist style!
Lisa Dee (19 days ago)
After the sweater is out of the freezer do I wash it as normal? How often do I need to do the vinegar and conditioner treatment on it?
LilMissN87 (19 days ago)
My nickname in my family as a kid, was actually Daddy longlegs (Stankelben in danish), cause I was so tall and thin 😃
Priyanka Kumar (19 days ago)

Sue N (20 days ago)
I guess most of men do not like the first hack. hehe
The Peddler (21 days ago)
ah to have long legs - yours look great BTW - all capris are pants for me! I finally understood the art of layering, thanks! Nicole from Canada, where it's cold even in the summer! PS all my buttoned down blouse/shirt/dresses are sewed from the first to the last (button) then it won't open for sure!
Fumbling Sugar (21 days ago)

Like this video!
Janet Rock (21 days ago)
Jesus I would be cold in those "hacks" even here in AZ in the winter.
Cathrin O (23 days ago)
You don't need tape for the first one. Just pull the shirt. No matter what kind of fabric it is, you can just pull.the fabric loose.
ana // moonchild (23 days ago)
some of these things are so unnecessary it’s not that deep jan
K K (23 days ago)
What about winter hacks for when you go outside? I would freeze outside in the late fall in those clothes.
Ellenahs B. (23 days ago)
The first one in the thumbnail looks better. The grey on denim is dull and dumpy.
Marie Tourniquet (24 days ago)

Ingrid Mendez (24 days ago)
What's the brand of your denim shirt?? Love it!
Connie Sison (25 days ago)
OMG! Sorry some of the fashion hacks are so dorky 😂
Julie Kristine (25 days ago)
I love the long to short/short to long layering tip! So many times I can't figure out why something doesn't look quite right, this might be it! :O
Nibedita Roy (25 days ago)
I think with the very first hack u could just get a loose shirt rather than getting a fitted one and ending up using a fashion tape 😂
The Mermaid's Tale (26 days ago)
Good styling tips. I love that dusters and ponchos are being worn this year (2018), so cozy and easy to wear, especially a poncho - no arm restriction. TFS
Birgit Stork (27 days ago)
Winter clothing... ridiculous... where... Fidschi?

Baby Cakes (28 days ago)
I would just throw away the itchy sweater😂😂😂I really hate itchy sweaters and not going to waste my hair conditioner on it. I will buy another sweater. Good hacks though😍
vox8md (28 days ago)
This is the worst - I wouldn’t be caught dead doing any of these hacks that make people look like fashion victims.
Dawn Stonerock (28 days ago)
Don’t like the summer blue dress hacks. That Dress screams airy light for summer. Just awkward in winter.
Tanisha Bhowal (29 days ago)
these are not useful hacks
kairithebeat (29 days ago)
Where do you usually buy your tights? I need new ones this year and those grey ones not only looked comfy...but cute! ✌👍
Olga Lopatina (29 days ago)
Cool video, but not warm enough for the North of Russia. 😜
Kaisasha (30 days ago)
Fashion tape? Just get clothes that actually fit your body
