Time and Temperature Sign; LED Retrofit by Arrow Sign Company

00:57
Old-style incandescent line-display renovated using white LEDs, effectively turning the unit into a fully-functioning EMC (Electronic Message Center) that just happens to be showing the time and temperature. This project was unique because very few Time and Temperature signs utilize white LEDs instead of traditional red or amber. This allowed the client to maintain a monochromatic look without additional colors detracting from their branding.

Oracle Sun merger gets green light

00:54
The long-awaited decision over Oracle's acquisition of Sun Microsystems has finally been made by the European Commission. In a statement following the announcement, the software giant says it expects "unconditional approval from China and Russia and intends to close the transaction shortly". Oracle has been waiting since September last year for the Commission to rule whether the acquisition would be anti-competitive. A major concern of the merger was if it could lead to higher licence and support prices for the product. Michael 'Monty' Widenius, MySQL's creator, even launched a 'SaveMySQL' petition to try to influence the Commission's decision. But the Commission says the investigation showed that "although MySQL and Oracle compete in certain parts of the database market, they're not close competitors in others, such as the high-end segment".

[TAS] GBA Pokémon: FireRed Version by MKDasher in 1:44:17.34

01:48:53
This is a tool-assisted speedrun. For more information, see http://tasvideos.org/2520M.html. TAS originally published on 2014-01-30. Pokémon: FireRed Version is an enhanced version of the original Pokémon: Red Version. Many glitches have been removed, and the random mechanics behind wild encounters have changed. This leads to very different strategies compared to our fastest runs on the original (http://tasvideos.org/2687M.html) generation (http://tasvideos.org/1639M.html) of games, and as a result, runs of this game see much more of the plot. Watch as MKDasher crushes this game using Clefable (the first evolved form of Clefairy) and lots of luck manipulation. This run improves the previous version by over 2 minutes by fighting most battles with Clefable instead of Squirtle and using Metronome (which picks a random move to use from all moves in the game) against the Elite Four. There is also an encode here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iRvguElQpk) that contains interesting data like PP left for each move, Pokémon stats, and some commentary on the run alongside the video.

Destiny - Good Locations to shot Oracles on VoG Hard Raid (Read Description)

03:11
The Vault of Glass on Hard mode can be tough when dealing with the Oracles. This video shows several good location. The exotic sniper (Ice Breaker is highly recommended as it automatically replenish ammo) 1.The top platform (0:00 - 0:40). This is where everyone will spawn if the team dies. Pros - At this location you can shot all but one (the far left). There are various location to move around to get a good view of the oracles.Team generally set people to several location around this area. Cons- Hobgoblins will be the biggest obstacles.Take them out as soon as possible or take immediate cover if you get hit once. Move back far enough so the hobgoblins will not see you. 2. Inside Right Pillar (0:45 -1:05)- This spot is extremely good. From here you can shot all the oracles. In hard mode this spot is extremely versatile. Only enemies with a good view (directly straight at you) can hit you. Be sure to inside at the pillar at all times. Cons- Watch out for any enemies that spawn at the right cave especially the Minotaur. Have your teammates take them down.Enemies may throw grenades. Just stay in the back and jump or hover if grenades are thrown. 3. Center (Relic location). (1:08 - 1:27) Pros- If you are a hunter you can set to blade-dancer for temp camouflage whenever you crouch. The oracle that spawns at the left back-wall is the hardest one to get. This is a spot some may consider. Cons - Only 1 oracle can be seen here. Beware of enemies that spot you. Most of the time the enemies should ignore you as long as you don't attract their attention. 4. Spirit Bloom chest Room (1:40 -1:55) Pro - Safe as long as you can in the room. You can see oracles that spawn at the right side Con- Beware of the Templar. He will fire at you. Just take cover whenever he spawns. 5. Cliff (2:06 - 2:34) - A good view of the right side. 6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ON50fPWGmw This spot works well in conjunction with spot #1 (The spawn platform) .It is a very good spot to take down the far left oracle. Be careful when the Templar appear. He will attack you. Just hide and have teammates call out when the Templar appears. Here is the spot in action for the hard raid mode- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaO_yKsbxdc End of the video is a way to get back to the top platform. It is not easy as you will need to time your jump perfectly. Most team just ask everyone to fall to their death to re-spawn back at the platform.

http://www.beet.tv/2008/10/warren-buffet-b.html Alice Schroeder's biography "The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life," released September 29, became an immediate bestseller. PR firm CJP Communications recently launched the first two segments of an eight-part online documentary series it produced, "Shaping 'The Snowball': Alice Schroeder on the Oracle of Omaha", to give a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the book and put their client, Schroeder, in the spotlight. Producing online videos about authors seem to be emerging as a trend; Internet video solutions provider TurnHere has produced a number of such videos for Simon & Schuster. You can see them here. The series about Schroeder, which runs on YouTube, Facebook, iTunes and Blip, has received 15,000 views so far. CJP Digital VP Wilson Cleveland, who was its executive producer, said he considers this a successful number considering the niche audience. I interviewed Cleveland at the CJP offices in the Empire State Building yesterday. It's not the company's first foray into web video: It produced a comedy series called "The Temp Life," inspired by The Office and featuring some of its own staff members, for temporary staffing agency Spherion. CJP first began producing branded content three years ago--ahead of many advertising agencies and content producers. It's interesting to see a PR company succeeding in a space that has principally the domain of advertisers. --Kelsey Blodget, Associate Producer
